Ashlyn + John | Wye Island NRMA Wedding

Nestled in the Chesapeake Bay is Wye Island NRMA, the most picturesque spot for two high school sweethearts to get married. When we pulled up to the girls getting ready space, we were greeted with the biggest hug from Ashlyn and it was love at first sight! This girl has the warmest smile and biggest heart while John’s fun loving personality is the perfect compliment. Not only did we love getting to know Ashlyn and John throughout the day, but their families welcomed us with open arms. It was so amazing to see everyone come together to make this day as beautiful as it was. Ashlyn’s dad built the arbor that they got married under and everyone was running around with handmade details to make their tent reception look stunning!

One of my favorite moments of the day was when Ashlyn took photos with her grandpa. Their were tears in her eyes as she told me that “he was her best friend.” As someone who was very close to my grandparents growing up, it is always so touching to be able to see those interactions. Ashlyn and John, we are so honored to have been able to capture this special day for you.
