While we believe that wedding days are beautiful, we know that marriage is the true adventure of a lifetime. It takes commitment, selfless love, and a whole lot of laughter. We have the honor seeing two people promise to support and love one another through all of life’s ups and downs. One of my favorite parts of any wedding day is seeing how a couple chooses to make those promises. Some go with traditional vows that have been spoken for generations and carry a legacy of love. Others incorporate some kind of unity ceremony, like wine or candles. And some just speak from the heart. Carly and Joe’s ceremony will forever be one of my favorites. They decided to write their own heartfelt vows and there was not a dry eye in the crowd when Joe spoke of his love for Carly. Their love runs deep and I know they will have such a beautiful marriage that will bring light and joy to all those around them.
