Chrissy + Pat | Carriage House at Rockwood Park Wedding

We cannot even begin to express how much we loved this wedding day. Chrissy and Pat are so genuine and down-to-earth and were so easy to work with! We really get some of the most amazing couples who make our job feel like anything but a job. From the moment the day started, we were already feeling all of the emotions. Chrissy’s engagement ring has her grandma’s diamond in it and when she asked me to photograph it with a note from her grandpa – cue all the tears. And just when we had recovered from that, Chrissy and Pat shared the sweetest first look in the history of first looks. They decided to share personal vows with each other and even though we couldn’t hear what they were saying behind our cameras, the looks on their faces said it all. Being able to hug each other during such a special time is one of the many reasons why we love first looks!

And then there was the rain… All day the clouds had been going in and out but the radar said that it would hold off for the ceremony. Well, right before the ceremony, the darkest clouds rolled in and Chrissy and Pat had to make a game time decision to move it indoors. As the rain poured down, guests made their way to their seats inside. Most couples would have let this put a damper on their spirits, but Chrissy and Pat wouldn’t let anything take away from the joy of their day. Chrissy and Pat, thank you for allowing us to be just a small part to the beginning of your forever. We hope you are loving every minute in Costa Rica. Enjoy just a few of our favorite images!
