Baby Keith’s Journey

Holy Moly! I can’t believe we are about a week away from meeting our little one. This journey has been such a roller coaster of emotions. Jon and I have spent almost eleven years together so the thought of growing our little family is both incredibly exciting and nerve-wracking. I can’t wait to see who this little person is going to be and most of all to see Jon become a dad!

From the moment we decided to grow our family, I had big dreams for a neutral themed nursery. We knew we were going to keep the gender a surprise and wanted something to reflect us. One of the last places that we traveled to together was Costa Rica where I fell in love with sloths.

While I never thought being pregnant during a pandemic would be on the top of my list of things to do, it is the way our journey has unfolded. Due to covid, Jon did not get to go to any appointments and we took social distancing rather seriously. Being away from family and friends during this special time was definitely tough, but we were still surrounded by so much love. Let’s just say this little one is going to be so spoiled!! It also gave Jon and I time to slow down and enjoy our last months just the two of us.
