Danielle and I were roommates in college so when she asked us to help capture her and Matt’s wedding day at Wolfe Neck Farm in Freeport, Maine we were so honored. I know what an amazing person Danielle is so it was so heartwarming to meet Matt and see what a perfect fit they are together. They just make each other glow!

Since Jon and I road-tripped to Maine for the wedding, we arrived there the day before to check out the venue. Both families and the bridal party were hard at work making the barn look absolutely beautiful. From the string lights to the corn hole boards, Matt and Danielle had done everything themselves. All of the personal touches made it that much better! My photographer heart was dancing around and I was so excited that I couldn’t sleep the night before!

Matt and Danielle are exactly the type of people you can’t help but fall in love with and I know it is because of the families that raised them. I have never met two sets of families that accepted each other with such open hearts. The love throughout the day was palpable. Between Matt’s dad officiating the ceremony and the best series of toasts, there was not a dry eye on Casco Bay. Thankfully, I got to hide my sniffles behind the camera.

Danielle and Matt – there are not enough words to accurately describe the pure joy and love that filled your wedding day, but I think the pictures speak for themselves.  Thank you for letting us join in #ourdayoncascobay.
