Nicole & Brett | Wind in the Willows Wedding Grantville, PA

We couldn’t talk about Nicole & Brett’s wedding day without talking about the weather! The day started as one of the hottest weddings we have ever shot, a whopping ninety-five degrees. We made it through pictures with both the girls and guys when the clouds rolled in! After much debate and checking multiple weather apps, they decided to still have their ceremony outside. The ceremony was absolutely perfect and right as the rings were placed on their left fingers, the skies opened up! A quick first kiss to seal the deal and then everyone made a mad dash to the barn for the reception. Talk about timing!

What stands out to me the most is the way Nicole and Brett handled the situation. Their ceremony was still full of laughter, their family was willing to stand under a tiny awning for portraits, and Nicole needed a full five umbrella escort to get from place to place. Despite all the chaos, nothing seemed to be able to wipe the smiles off their faces. Seeing Brett and Nicole together, their is no doubt that they will be able to handle anything that life throws their way as long as they can do it side by side.
