Jon and I have been so excited for this wedding! Even though it wasn’t a destination wedding for the bride and groom – it was a destination wedding for us! Rhiannon and I met in Massachusetts when we both spent a year volunteering as tutors in a local school. I moved there right after graduating from college and did not know a single soul. Rhiannon’s warm personality and big heart was just what this girl needed when she was homesick and needed a friend. We spent many cold New England weekends trying out Pinterest recipes and watching Grey’s Anatomy. Fast forward almost four years and I was so excited to see that Rhiannon was engaged to the love of her life! Mike is the kind of guy you are just comfortable being around and matches Rhiannon’s personality perfectly. I was truly honored when they asked us to come up to Massachusetts to photograph their big day.

Weddings come in all shapes and sizes, but I loved that Mike and Rhiannon had a small bridal party. Rhiannon’s bridesmaids consisted of her two sisters and best friend from college. One of my favorite parts of the day was listening to the girls practice their speeches as I was taking pictures of the beautiful details in the loft right above them. They wanted to make sure they truly displayed the love between Mike and Rhiannon. It was seriously the sweetest and they did an amazing job!

Mike and Rhiannon, we can’t believe your day has come and gone already! Thank you for allowing us to be a part of this season in your life. We can’t wait to see what the future holds for you. Enjoy some of our favorites from your special day.
